On May 1st, 2013 the Police Athletic League, P.A.L., had a ribbon cutting ceremony for the completion of their new facility. Board member John Peterman, August Lietzen, and I were in attendance to receive a Certificate of Appreciation for MOKAN. I would like to thank each and every one on who contributed in any way for this project. Without the support of our suppliers and expertise this project would not be what it is today.
At the ceremony, P.A.L. expressed its appreciation to several companies and groups that were involved. Far more than I imagined that were behind the scenes, much like our daily work. The project, to this date, has received $750,000 in donations, whether in materials or services.
